LA ORZEL'S ROSE
Sire line: Koheilan-Adjuze DB
Dam line: Semrie DB
LA ORZEL'S ROSE is a pure Polish Arabian mare from Brusally Arabian bloodlines. One of Coronado Ranch's broodmares, Rosie crosses beautifully with warmblood stallions to produce foals of sport horse type.
Rosie is a daughter of 1980 National Champion Third Level Dressage Horse Brusally Orzetyn. Rosie's paternal grandsire, *Orzel++, himself a National Champion in racing and sidesaddle, has established a racing and performance dynasty through such sons and grandsons as Brusally Orzelost, Magus, KA Czubuthan, and JAF Orphatyn.
Rosie's dam, *Drawa, produced Region 1 Reserve Champion Reining Horse LA Orzel. *Drawa is by the celebrated Burkan, grandsire of *Carmargue, and out of *Dewiza, the dam of *Deficyt (sold for $609,000) and *Diana (sold for $1,200,000). Rosie's female family, tracing to Semrie DB, has produced Swedish National Champion Dardir, U.S. and Canadian National Champion *Dornaba, U.S. and Canadian Top Ten Stallion *Druzba++, and the well-known sires *Dar and *Druch, among others.
Rosie is the dam of our 2005 chestnut filly, Contessa Orzel, sired by the Hanoverian stallion Contucci. Rosie began her dressage show career with her amateur owner in Fall 2008. Her scores have ranged up to 67.5%, and she is currently schooling First Level.
