1994 grey Arabian mare
DAWINNAH
Sire line: Ibrahim DB
Dam line: Mlecha DB
DAWINNAH, owned by Shelley Housh, was one of Coronado Ranch's pure Polish Arabian broodmares. A proven producer of Arabian foals of performance type, she was a natural choice for our Arabian-warmblood sporthorse breeding program.
Dawinnah is by the noted sire SW Dawid, a halter champion and sire of many stakes winners. Her dam, Carinda, is by *Carradin, a son of U.S. and Swedish National Champion *Aladdinn, and is out of Mirinda, by Diamant, a son of Swedish National Champion *Exelsjor. Dawinnah's female family, tracing to Mlecha DB, has produced the well-known sires *Bask++, Negatraz, and Bandos, U.S. National Champions *El Mudir, *Bajram, and *Sambor, and Polish Triple Crown winner Sasanka, to name a few.
On May 29, 2006, Dawinnah gave birth to IMMAGINN, a beautiful colt by the Thoroughbred stallion Innkeeper, a winning son of Secretariat out of a mare by Mr. Prospector. Innkeeper is approved by ISR/Oldenburg NA and RPSI International.
Dawinnah is proving to be an incredible broodmare. Her son DUDAMEL SH was the 2011 USEF Region 1 Champion Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian. Dawinnah's daughters MISS STYXX and MISSTYXX ROSE are approved as breeding stock by the American Trakehner Association, receiving total scores of 53 and 49, respectively. A grandson, SILVERWOOD SH, was the 2009 USEF Region 2 Reserve Champion Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian.
